Corporate Information


IC-Global Microfinance Bank Limited (formerly Isoko Community Bank Limited) was commissioned on the 15th November, 1991, as one of the pioneer community banks that came into existence through the Federal Government Act No. 25 of 1991 which established the National Board of Community Banks (NBCB).


It has a capital base of N100million (one hundred million naira) and shareholders fund in excess of N380million (three hundred and eighty million naira).


It was given a certificated of incorporation from the Corporate affairs Commission, Abuja on the 25th August 1991 with registration No. 203427, while the final license to carry on community banking business was obtained from Central Bank of Nigeria on the 24th January, 2002, with license No. 000098.


The bank has a significant grassroots outreach with the ownership structure consisting of 17 clans, 30 Cooperative Societies, 15 Social Clubs and about 900 individuals and a board membership of 6 distinguished persons.


It might also interest you to know that, in line with the Central Bank of Nigeria policy on conversion of Community Banks to Microfinance Banks, the bank has recently been converted to the new status, known as IC-Global Microfinance Bank Limited (IGMB), with an enviable financial strength.
