IC-Farms Account

This product is a special agricultural finance scheme specially designed for farmers of all kinds of produce such as poultry, fisheries, tree and arable crops; etc. The scheme is designed to enhance farmers’ working capital.

 


THOSE TO BENFIT

 

  • Farmers’ cooperative societies
  • Schools/ institutions agricultural farers’

 

  • Clubs/ societies involved in farming.
  • Individual farmers

 

 

HOW TO BENEFIT

 

  • Open an IC-Farm account in any branch of IC-GLOBAL MFB with a minimum of         N5, 000.00.
  • It’s a savings account.

 

  • Make choice savings into your account and be qualified to enjoy a credit facility to enhance your working capital.

 

FEATURES/CONDITION

 

  • Gestation periods shall determine formation of groups so that harvest periods will be the same.
  • Repayment period for credit facility shall not exceed 18 calendar months.

 

  • Customer / Bank relationship for individuals should be four (4) months.
  • Maximum value of the credit facility granted shall be determined by the viability of the farm type, but shall not exceed N200, 000.00 for a start.

 

  • Securities for credit shall include two (2) personal guarantors for individuals, while MCA groups shall be required to cross-guarantee themselves.
  • Micro Insurance to cover produce from farm.

 

Mandatory Savings of 30% required.
