Social Responsibility

 

  1. EMPOWERING OUR COMMUNITIES
    A scheme specially packaged by the Bank to re-engineer grassroots economic prosperity by positively empowering key stakeholders was officially launched on July 18th, 2008.   
    The bank is using the Mobile Micro Credit/Banking in driving this scheme.
    This is implemented via:

    • Micro Credit (Groups, Co-operatives Societies, NGOs, individuals, e.t.c.)
    • Students Micro Savings  Account (SMS Account)

     

    • IC-Festivals Account
    • IC-Expansion Loan Account (IC-ELA)

     

    • Empowering My Church Account (EMCA)
    • IC-Farms Account

     

    • I Be Oga Account (Artisans Account)

    IC-GLOBAL MFB Ltd is implementing this programme in three phases

    REMARK

    1,000 persons will benefit in each local government i.e 25,000
    Persons in the 25 local government areas of Delta State.

    2,500 persons in each local government area i.e 62,500 persons in the 25 local government areas of Delta State.

    5,000 persons in each LGA i.e 125,000 persons in 25 local government areas of Delta State.

    The scheme is to cover 125,000 beneficiaries with the support of N1.2 billion (One Billion, Two Hundred Million Naira)

    ICB MEDCO- Human Resource Development Centre to train participants before

          • Computer Appreciation
          • Skill Acquisition
    Micro Credit Administration for self help groups
